The SMB series features a fast and easy snap on coupling mechanism suitable for applications to 4 GHz. The SMC series threaded coupling is better suited for more permanent interconnections where the ability to withstand more vibration is needed. The screw on coupling also allows for extended frequency to 6 and 10 GHz.
